Air Requirments

I have acquired and restored a type B Diaphone fire horn. Looking for ideas on how to set up an air system to power the horn. Can not seem to find an air compressor/tank with a one inch fitting to supply the horn. Any ideas helpful...

I am sorry no one responded to your inquiry.
Although I did TOOT our Diaphones directly from the one inch port on a compressor, I think most of us use an intermediate receiver (tank) with a 1" outlet.
The size of the tank depends on how many times you want to disturb the neighbors at any one session.
I get two or three very satisfying TOOTs out of a 25 gallon tank pressurized to 75 PSI and regulated to 35.
I think Gamewell used 1000 gallon receivers in most installations!.
