The "Danish" Diaphone

I have now received my Diaphone, very nice horn. I will do some minor repairs to it, to get it to work, but will keep the patina on the horn for now. Maybe later it will be polished and painted.
All 3 gaskets is misssing, should be easy to make. Yeasterday I got the cylinder out of the housing, made a puller tool for this opration, and yes it kind of popped out of the housing. All internal parts looks OK, just needs cleaning and then it will be put back together.
It seem that this forum is very "slow" only a few post in a years time. Has the interest dissapered ?

A little information about the history of this Diaphone. According to the seller, this horn is one of two installed on the old fire department building in Torrington Connecitcut.
This fire house was built in 1900 and was in use until 1980. The building still stand and is now used by a small brewery :D
I have found a photo from 1986 where the two Diaphones can be seen on the rear of the building.
If someone have more informaion about the two horns, please let me know.

There is some more info from Fergus on this horn in the Welcome section.
Could it be included here?
