  - The Diaphone ringtones got a reprieve, only instead of 2 there are now 8. Brand new, more reliable method for delivery now. Just click the "Ringtones" Link to the left to get started.

  - I removed all the links to and content of the ringtone sender. Although it worked for some it was more trouble than it was ever worth. For me, Diaphone ringtones on a cell phone was a novelty for about a day, then it got annoying. I don't have them on my phone, therefore cannot send them... don't bother asking.

  Edit: According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teleflip, this service was discontinued as of Sept 6th, 08.

  - Removed the dead link to longislandfirealarm.com and replaced it with a link to http://www.backtaps.com/

- Whew... I took the "Technical Information" page and broke it down into General Information, Diaphone Types, Pressure Info, and Piston/Stator/Pitch info because the original page was getting way too full and cluttered.  Too full is a good thing though, and it is thanks to the research efforts of Adam, Jim, Brett and others.

- With the permission of Adam, I am adding his pictures and information that he has been posting on the discussion board.  Although this means the info is duplicated, it will ultimately mean this site will be a true central repository for all things Diaphone, and browsers will not have to search for the technical info that keeps emerging on the board.  The posts on the board will stay there and the board will merely serve as the catalyst for discussion and discovery.  Keep up the good work Adam and other Diaphone enthusiasts!

- I am taking the time to add Java image pop-up windows for all images and links to images.  It provides the viewer a cleaner view of pictures, instead of them coming up in a regular old window full of tool bars and scroll bars.  This is not completely finished as of this posting, but should be shortly.
